It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Tis the season for fresh fruits and veggies! Between the Dallas Farmers Market, local produce stands and Central Market, it's been hard for me to say no! I realized just how ridiculous I am when I tallied the  fruit in my fridge tonight. We have: watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches and tomatoes.

But how could one not buy everything in site when it looks this good?!

Really got to hand it to Dallas for having a top of the line Farmer's Market. They're open daily and in addition to local fruits and veggies you can also find naturally raised meat products, organic eggs, local honey and olive oil, fresh bread and more!

Girl's Weekend in Dallas!

Several weekends ago my friends Katie, Lisa, and Hannah came to play in Dallas for the weekend. We kicked John out of the house sent John to his friend's house and spent a weekend together in Texas before Hannah moves to Philadelphia!

We started out the evening drinking wine and skyping with our dear friend, Brianna. Were she not living in California, she most definitely would have been there as well.

The following day we lunched, shopped, chatted about town!

The next morning we headed to one of my favorite places, the Dallas Farmer's Market!

I am so very fortunate these ladies were placed in my life in graduate school at Baylor. I'm not sure how I would have made it through without them and certainly love sharing life post-grad school with them as well! We're certainly spread out (from San Diego to Philadelphia now!) but I'm confident we'll always find a way for a reunion.
