I met Courtney on the first day of school in the fourth grade. Mrs.Goldthwaite sat us next to each other because she thought we'd be friends.
Well her thinking was correct because not only did Courtney and I hit if off in 1994, we've stayed friends through middle school, high school, college and beyond.
(Who didn't have an underwater camera in 1997?)
And, the Lord really had our paths aligned when in 1995, my parents built a house like 6 houses down from the Giammalva's. We carpooled to school, spent the afternoon and evening together rollerblading in our hood and frequently ate dinner at each other's houses. As we grew up we went to cotillion, dominated our 8th grade basketball team, suffered through awkward freshman year at Heights, spent time with friends and, of course, made home videos together. (Wish I had one of these to attach!)

Courtney's the kind of friend that's there with you in every life stage and every significant event and is always laughing with you. She's one of the most genuine, loyal, thoughtful and funniest girl I know. I'm honored that she's chosen to still be my friend after all of this time.
Happy Birthday, Courtney!

Woof..that pic of the 3 of us! Love yall!
