As expected, becoming parents to little Rosie has really consumed our evenings lately, thus the reason for no posts. She's just too cute and playful making it harder to find time to blog.
Rosie's favorite bone.
But really, John and I have spent a considerable amount of time watching Rosie and laughing at all the "new" things she does. Rosie's first time to jump up on the couch, jump down from the couch, eat food by herself, take a bath, chase a bird, meet another dog, meet our family and friends, play chase and of course, throw up on our carpet. Delightful.
Sleeping very unlady-like. But funny.
Getting her hair dryed after the first bath.
Just being cute.
And, over the weekend we took her on her first overnight trip to Fort Worth. Rosie was able to meet my family's twelve-year-old Maltese, Biscuit.
Alpha and Omega. Ebony and Ivory. Biscuit was a bit territorial at first. Rosie followed Biscuit everywhere. We think they had fun.
My Mom and the pups! Neither dog liked it if the other one had someone's attention.
Family photo shoot.
Hopefully she'll learn her name soon and actually look at the camera. She's really progressed in the last two weeks--she's less timid and more confident. We can't wait to see more of her personality in the upcoming months!
